Coupons allow you to offer discounted prices for your courses to your members or community visitors.
Just like our paid membership subscription setup, our coupon code functionality is built using Stripe. This allows you to easily manage your coupon codes for your courses directly from Stripe.
1. Once you have set up your One time fee Courses, log in to Stripe by visiting this link.
2. Once you have logged in, click Products on the top menu.
3. Select Coupons under All products.
4. To create your coupon, click the + New button in the top right corner.
5. You will now be redirected to the coupon creation process in Stripe. There you will be able to set an internal coupon name and discount type, apply the coupon to a membership product, set coupon duration, and set redemption limits.
6. It is important that you enable the Apply to specific products and select the Courses which the coupon can be used to avail the discount
7. Next, turn on 'Use customer facing-coupon codes.' This must be turned on and set up for your subscribers/members to use coupon codes on GroupApp.
8. Set up a customer-facing code by entering a customer-friendly coupon name and selecting any other requirement you would like for the coupon code.
9. Once you are done creating your coupon, click Create coupon button.
