Course Drip allows you to schedule when lessons or sections of your course become available to learners. This feature helps you deliver content at the right pace, keep learners engaged, and guide them through the material.
In this guide, you’ll learn how to set up drip schedules and send notifications to learners when new lessons are available.
Step 1: Click on the Admin Panel button.
Step 2: Click on Learning in the side menu and select Courses. Then, click on the course you want to apply drip to.
Step 3: Click the Drip tab.
Step 4: Click the Select Drip Type button of the section you want to apply Drip to.
Step 5: Use the dropdown menu to choose one of three options for releasing the course section on Drip.
Specific date: If you want to release course lessons on a specific date, select the date and time and click Save.
Days after enrollment: You can choose to release course lessons a specific number of days after the enrollment day. Enter the number of days and click Save.
Months after enrollment: Course lessons will be released on a specific number of months after the enrollment day.
Step 6: Enter a specific date, number of days, or months after enrollment, then click Save.
Step 7: When the course section becomes available, you have the option of sending an email to the enrollees. To do this, click the Compose Email button.
Step 8: The email page will open, where you can enter the email subject and body. Once complete, click Save.
Step 9: Click the Activate button to activate the Drip for this specific course section.
