The GroupApp MCP lets you run your community by asking an AI assistant in plain language. It works with any assistant that supports MCP (Model Context Protocol), such as Claude and ChatGPT. This page lists what you can do in each part of GroupApp.
Connect GroupApp to your AI assistant and sign in as the community owner or an admin.
Ask in plain language, for example: "Create a members-only event next Tuesday at 6pm and remind everyone who RSVPs an hour before."
Review the preview. Before anything changes, the assistant shows exactly what will change: which items, which members, what they will see or receive.
Confirm. Nothing is created, changed, sent or removed until you say yes. The assistant then makes the change and reads it back so you can see the result.
Reading information (lists, reports, member details) never changes anything and needs no confirmation.
Good to know
The assistant can only reach communities you have connected, with the permissions you approved when connecting.
When GroupApp adds new features to the MCP, they appear in your assistant automatically. You don't need to reconnect.
Some things are still done in the GroupApp app, such as uploading files and taking payments. They are listed at the end of this page.

New plans start disabled. Activate them when you're ready.
Only add published courses and library items as add-ons. The MCP doesn't stop you adding a draft yet.
