Admins can reactivate a member's canceled subscription directly from the Admin Panel. This is useful when a member can't resubscribe themselves or wants to return to your community after a period of inactivity with a canceled subscription. You can reactivate both individual and group subscriptions.
Note: Before reactivating a subscription, communicate with the member and get their confirmation. Make sure they understand the plan they're reactivating, the charges they'll incur, and any remaining credit that will be applied to their subscription. If the member has unused credit on your community's Stripe account, it will be applied automatically during reactivation.
Go to your Admin Panel. Under Community, click People to open your member list. Find and select the member whose subscription you want to reactivate. Their subscription status will be marked as Canceled.
On their profile, click the three-dot menu on the profile card and select Reactivate Subscription. This opens the reactivation panel, where you can review the member's details and select a subscription plan.

A reactivation panel opens. This reactivation panel displays the member's name, email address, and previously canceled subscription.

You can reactivate the same subscription or choose a different plan. The member's previous subscription is marked with a Previous tag.

Search the subscription plan you want to assign. Select the plan to proceed. In this case, we will reactivate the same subscription for the member. The selected plan will appear in the order summary for review before you confirm the reactivation.

After selecting a plan, you'll see the member's previous canceled subscription, the newly selected plan, and an order summary on the right side of the panel.

Review the payment details, add-ons, promo codes, and any applicable credit before proceeding.
The panel displays the payment methods saved to the member's account, including expired ones.
Active payment method: You can review the order summary and proceed.
Expired payment method: The card details appear grayed out, along with an error message.
No payment method: The panel displays an error message indicating that no payment method is available.
Make sure the member has an active payment method before continuing. If their payment method is missing or expired, contact the member and ask them to update their payment details before proceeding.
If the selected subscription plan includes add-ons, they'll appear in the order summary.
Required add-ons: These are automatically included in the order.
Optional add-ons: You can choose whether to include them.
Review the add-ons to ensure the order reflects the subscription you intend to reactivate.
You can apply a promo code during checkout.
Enter the promo code in the order panel and apply it before continuing. The discount will apply to the selected subscription.
If the member has unused credit on your community's Stripe account, it will be applied automatically during reactivation.
The credit reduces the amount the member needs to pay, where applicable. It is applied to the subscription rather than refunded as a separate payment.
The member can check their remaining credit on their billing page.
Important: Make sure the member understands the amount they'll be charged and how any available credit will be applied before confirming the reactiva
Once you've reviewed the order summary and confirmed that everything is correct, click Continue.

GroupApp will send a verification code to the admin email address. Enter the code in the panel, and click Verify and Update Subscription.

Once the reactivation is complete, the panel will display a green confirmation message along with the member's new subscription plan and next invoice date.
Click Done to close the panel.

The member's subscription has now been reactivated. Any remaining account credit can be checked by the member from their billing page.
