If your Branded Mobile App is distributed on the App Store in the European Union (EU), Apple requires your trader status to be declared and verified.
The Digital Services Act (DSA) is an EU law that requires Apple to verify and display certain contact information for businesses and other developers considered traders. For traders, this information is displayed on the app's App Store product page for users in the EU.
For your Branded Mobile App to remain available in the EU, you'll need to complete this requirement directly from your Apple App Store Connect account.
Sign in to App Store Connect using your Apple Developer account.
Click Business at the top of the page and open the Agreements tab.
Scroll down to the Compliance section and find Digital Services Act.
Click Complete Compliance Requirements.
Select This is a trader account.
Enter or confirm the requested contact information, including the email address and phone number you want to use.
Apple will ask you to verify the contact information you provided. Enter the verification codes you receive to verify your email address and phone number.
Follow any additional verification instructions shown by Apple. You may be asked to provide documentation verifying your business name and address.
Review all the information shown on the final screen and make sure everything is correct.
Click Confirm to complete your DSA compliance information.
Once your information has been submitted and verified, Apple can display your trader contact information on your Branded Mobile App's App Store product page in the EU.
Important: Make sure the email address, phone number, and other information you provide are accurate and kept up to date. Apple requires verified trader information for apps distributed in the EU.
