The Community Switcher allows you to navigate quickly between all your GroupApp communities from within any single community you are logged into, whether you are an admin or a member. It automatically adopts the theme of your current community for a seamless experience.
Without a theme, it displays a default style. When a community theme is set, the switcher matches its appearance:
The switcher eliminates the need to visit my group.app to access your communities. You can also quickly create a new community by clicking the + icon, and view unread notification counts from other communities you are part of.
By default, the Community Switcher is enabled for your community.
Step 1: Navigate to the Admin Panel.
Step 2: In the side menu, go to Settings & Data, select Settings.
Step 3: Scroll down to the Community Switcher section. Select or deselect the toggle to enable or disable the switcher.
Step 4: Click the Save Settings button to apply your changes.
When the Community Switcher is disabled, you will only see and access the specific community you are currently in. Navigation to other communities will not be available.
To change the order in which communities appear on the switcher bar, simply drag and drop them into your preferred arrangement.
By default, communities are ordered based on the date you joined them, with the most recently joined appearing last.
You can also quickly create a new community by clicking the + icon, which will take you directly to the community creation page.
