As an admin, sharing events in interest-based channels boosts visibility and helps reach the right audience. Since not everyone checks the events dashboard, posting where members are active increases the chance they'll see it and be more likely to RSVP.
This can be used to create micro communities for your specific program.
You can have all of the essential resources for a specific group inside a channel, from discussions, events, to courses, centralized.
Allows you to run multiple different groups using channels while having everyone in one community.
Navigate to the admin section by clicking the admin panel button
Click the events menu and select an event
Once the event builder is opened, click on the edit event button and scroll to the event options section.
On the Link event to channels subsection, search and select your preferred channels to link to the event
Save the updates, and the event will appear to the members of the channel when they select the events tab
