As an admin, linking events to interest-based channels helps your content reach the right audience. Not everyone checks the events dashboard, so posting events in active channels increases the chances that members will see them and RSVP.

You can have all of the essential resources for a specific group inside a channel, from discussions, events, to courses, centralized.
Run multiple groups using channels while keeping everyone in a single community.
Step 1: Go to the Admin Panel.
Step 2: Click on Events.
Step 3: In the events menu, find the event you want to link, click the three-dot icon next to the event, and select Edit Event.
Step 4: On the Edit Event page, scroll down to Event Options.
Step 5: Find Link Event to Channels and click the plus (+) button.
Step 6: Select the channels you want to link the event to.
Step 7: Scroll back up and click Save.
Step 8: The event will now appear in the Events tab of any channels you linked it to.
