This guide explains how to hide specific menu options from members in your community.
Step 1: Navigate to the Admin Panel.

Step 2: Click Appearance and select Branding.

Step 3: Navigate to the Menus tab.

Step 4: The Menus page displays all menu items that can be hidden from community members.
Left-side navigation menu items:
Courses Tab
Library
Events Tab
Newsletters Tab
Invite members
People Directory
Top bar and account options:
Direct Messages
Profile
Billing
What happens when you hide these:
Hiding Direct Messages removes the option to view and send messages from the top bar.
This is different from disabling messages, which stops messaging but keeps existing conversations.
Hiding Profile removes the option for members to edit their profile details.
Hiding Billing removes access to the billing portal.
If the People Directory is hidden, members can still search for other members by name using the search field.

Step 5: To hide any menu item:
Click on the eye icon

Click on Hide in the confirmation pop-up

The selected menu item will now be hidden from community members.
