When you enforce assignment submission, students must complete and submit an assignment before progressing to the next lesson. This ensures they fully engage with the required material and do not skip ahead. You can also set a minimum character requirement for their submissions.
Step 1: Click on the Admin Panel button.

Step 2: Go to Learning and select Courses. Then select the course you have an assignment lesson on.

Step 3: On the Curriculum tab, select the assignment lesson you want to edit.

Step 4: Scroll down to the Visibility of Submissions subsection. Here, you can control who can view a student's submitted assignment once it's been turned in. Choose from the three options:
Admin only: Submitted assignments are visible only to you and other course admins. This is the default and most private setting.
Enrolled students: Submitted assignments are visible to all students currently enrolled in the course.
Community: Submitted assignments are visible to any member of your GroupApp community, even those not enrolled in this specific course.

Step 5: In the Assignment Settings, toggle Enforce Character Count to on. Enter the required minimum number of characters in the field that appears.

Step 6: Scroll down to the Lesson Settings section. There, toggle Enforce Assignment Submission to on. This requires students to submit the assignment before they can proceed to the next lesson.

Step 7: Click the Save button to update the changes.

Step 1: Navigate to the course using the side navigation menu.

Step 2: Click the Feed tab. This shows assignment activity for all students in the course.

Go to your course’s Enrollments tab and click on a student’s Assignment progress bar to view their submitted work.
