How to configure access level

Learn how to configure visibility settings

These are four resources you can share to your community members or visitors:

  • Courses

  • Library contents

  • Events

  • Channels

As admin you can control who can access these resources, and this is setting up your resources' Access level.

Access level explained

Currently we have 5 access level options for courses/library contents/events:

  • Open

    • Resource can be accessed by anyone, either by a visitor or a community member (any subscription plan) especially if the resource is Visible to the public.

  • Paid members

    • Resource can only be accessed by members who are in Paid community subscription, so users in Free subscription will not be able to access the resource.

  • One-time fee

    • Resource can only be accessed by those who have purchased it. First you have to setup your stripe account on Integrations page, and create a Pricing on the resource to be able to setup the resource's access level to 'One time fee'.

  • By plans

    • Resource can only be accessed by members who are under the selected plans. You can select one or multiple plans for this access level.

    • By segment

      • Resource can only be accessed by members who included on the Segments selected. You can select on multiple segments for this access level.

      • First you need to create a segment and assign members to the segment to utilize this access level by segment.

For Channels, there is one unique Access level which is only for channels:

  • Private

    • Resource can only be accessed by members who are added to the channel by admins of the community. Members cannot access the channel any other way.
